Barrot Cylinder Lamp
Sculptural ceramic "string" table lamp made in collaboration with Connecticut based ceramicist Charlie Dumais of Dumais Made. Hand built using locally sourced stoneware clay from Sheffield, MA, this brutalist inspired ceramic lamp shade is texturized with a sgraffito (scratch) technique using Japanese wooden combs, while the base features a linear texture hand applied by Dumais using an antique wooden spaghetti rolling pin. Completed with antique brass fittings and a black cloth cord with in-line switch.
