Binchotan Charcoal
Kishu Binchotan Charcoal is the best quality charcoal for purifying water. Activated through an extremely high burning process and a rapid cooling process. This charcoal absorbs chlorine and other chemicals from drinking water while releasing natural minerals into it. Binchotan has an alkaline effect- it softens and improves the overall taste of water.
Directions: Prior to first time use, rinse Binchotan with water and boil for 10 minutes to refresh it, and then let dry. After, simply place the charcoal in water pitcher. Reusable for up to 3 months, and can be recycled by breaking it into small pieces and placing them into your plant soil, creating micro water and air cavities in the soil.
